Sean O’Toole and Glen Miley, along with Joe Edmisten, are the founding executives of the firm. As such, their positions require the highest level of responsibility and client accountability in the performance of a variety of ecological and environmental regulatory-compliance consulting services. The scope of these services includes a multiplicity of applied ecological studies, environmental site assessments, land use planning consulting, and environmental permitting.
Mr. O’Toole’s particular emphases in the firm include: wetland delineation; stream and wetland restoration; invasive-species eradication; and wetland functional assessment evaluation.
Mr. Miley’s particular emphases in the firm include: mitigation banking, endangered species permitting; eminent-domain litigation support; international Environmental Impact Assessment; phase I Environmental Site Assessments; and environmental legislation.

Dr. Joe as he is affectionately known, Team Taught with the well known and respected pioneer in the field, Dr. Eugene Odum and co-authored scientific publications with Dr. Tom Odum. Dr. Joe joined The University of West Florida (UWF) in the early sixties where, in addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, he directed the Office of Environmental studies. Among his legacies at UWF are the interpretive nature trails he developed, which are still enjoyed today. Upon leaving UWF in 1976, Dr. Joe established his ecological consulting company that has since expanded to include two expert partners and a dedicated staff who can meet all of your environmental needs.
